The Weather in the Cottage Grove, Dorena Lake Area ranges from warm summer days perfect for boating and the associated water sports with comfortably cool night time temperatures with only about 4.5 inches of rain expected June through July. Only about 1.5 inches are normally expected in July and August combined. November and December are the heaviest rainfall months with and anticipated 15 inches of rain falling in those two months. Our beautiful forests grow abundant from our fall and winter rains.
